INTERACTIVE ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS

 

Useful for class work, testing and revision by teachers with groups, or by students alone. Questions have been designed for students in the mid-range of ability. Each subject is sub-divided into three sections to give working blocks of about 30 mins. Each subject sub-section is automatically marked, totalled and percentaged.

 

PRACTICALS in each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, are the basis of these interactive automatically marked multiple choice questions, The practicals chosen are those that are easily demonstrated or carried out by students. PHOTOGRAPHS, and where appropriate diagrams, of these practicals, provide the stimulus material for the questions. The illustrations and questions convey much information and are therefore useful for class work, testing and revision, and even for students who have missed practicals. Enlarged versions of selected photographs showing more detail are provided separately, and form a useful archive which can be viewed/projected to aid discussion.

HELP BOXES which can be used to reveal background information if the cursor is passed over the question mark logo, add to the learning experience.

 

The complete production can be used in three forms.

• The Revision Version in which the questions can be attempted any number of times, are instantaneously visibly marked, with end of subject section totals percentaged. The more difficult questions have drop down HELP BOXES as described above. When printed out, only the questions show, so that this can be used as a paper version if required.

• The Practice Test Version, where only the total score and percentage are shown on screen on completion of a subject section. The marking of individual answers is only shown on a print-out, along with the totals. The correct answers are not provided, and can only be identified through an understanding of the subject.

• The Test Version where marking and totals are only shown on the print-out. The answer sequence is unique, and the correct answers are not provided.
